	If the threat is from Iran and Iraq, Obama has already talked about moving in other countermeasures. If the threat is from Russia, well. It's unlikely that the US is in a position to protect anyone from Russia anyway.

	if the threat is from Russia, i think US has to be there at least as a member of NATO it is not something US can't do, just remember Yugoslavia

	And what about countries, non-members of NATO, which US called allies, Ukraine in particular? I definitely hope that's not gonna happen but still don't think US will stand up for them To be fair - it doesn't even matter who's president now
